solve for the system of equations:
If v=vc +at AND
delta x= (_v + vc)t

show that delta x= vct=atsquared over 2
hint you need to eliminate the v

If v = vc + at
AND
delta x = (v + vc)t/2
then
delta x = (vc + at + vc)t/2
delta x = (2vc + at)t/2
delta x = vct + (at^2)/2
delta x ≠ (at^2)/2 unless vc = 0
(looks like you typed = instead of +)
