5) Albert Pujols - I know Howard won the MVP last season, but nobody has been as dominant as Pujols for the past five years. The first part of his career matches up well against some of the game's legendary players, and he's already considered almost a lock for the Hall in his mid-20s.

4) Ladanian Tomlinson - He just had a year for the ages this past season. It's not so much that he obliterated the touchdown record, but that he did so while teams' defenses were focused on stopping him. He's the biggest threat on the Chargers' offense, but teams still had no way to stop him. I never thought he'd be this good, but he's proven me wrong in a big way.

3) Martin Brodeur - He's obviously not as big a name as the others on my list, but his career has been amazing. He's still a workhorse and dominant goalie, and he's got the hardware (including Stanley Cups) to show for his work. He now has the record for overtime wins, and has a shot to break what many though an unbreakable record - Terry Sawchuk's 103 shutouts. He'll also pass Patrick Roy in the next few years as the winningest goaltender in NHL history.

2) Tiger Woods - The seven-tournament streak he's on is just the gravy on an incredible career. He's well on pace to break Nicklaus' Grand Slam record, and only Federer is a better finisher in any sport.

1) Roger Federer - Nobody dominates his sport more thoroughly, not even Tiger. Three of four Grand Slam events last season, just won the Australian Open for his 10th Slam singles title, and has a phenomenal record in final matches over the past few years. He's on a 36-match winning streak, and is 55-1 since last year's French Open final.

Athletic Ability: That Brian Urlacher. Someone who is that big and that strong, that hits that hard and runs as fast as he does.

Mastery of his Sport. Tiger Woods. NO Question.

Well I'm not a Philadelphia fan, but I'd put Mike Schmidt and Julius Erving on that list if you're going all time.
