You no, this is a free country. No one has the right to control anyone. Even if your married, no one can control, legally. Call the police. Get a peace-bond put on them. It means that someone is watching your every move, telling you that you can or cannot do something. Physically stopping you from doing what you want. Abuse is another treatment from a controlling person. Seek help from the authorities now. Nothing good will come of this. Do it now!!!!

I'm sort of in that situation myself by my boyfriend's ex girlfriend. But she's a stalker and psycho. Standing up for yourself can be very difficult and scary. I haven't because I know the danger I could be in with someone in that frame of mind. Being controlled by someone means you are living by what they want you to do, go or speak to etc....you have no freedom and a person or people intimidate you that way putting fear into you so you don't do anything else for yourself etc...it really also depends on how serious your situation is. If threats are being made or stalking is occuring, it's time to get the police involved. That's what I've done. It's worked too. No one wants to spend time in jail. Just keep that in mind for them. It's never health or safe to be bullied by someone or a group of people and it sounds just like that.

Cut of all communication with them. If they persist, go to court and get a restraining order!
