They don’t I have seen this in a real case scenario were someone I know is incapable to tolerate mistakes, jokes or stupidity on a normal level. They find manipulate and break people down till there is no humanity left within that person.

Either become a hermit and move into a cave or just learn acceptance. I have mastered tuning people out to the extent that I can completely be thinking about something else yet still smile and nod periodically.

It's all about compromise. Also, remember to keep things in perspective...as something you do may seem perfectly logical and intelligent to you, but somebody else might find your actions illogical and unintelligent.

They learn to get over it. They will be surrounded by idiots the rest of their lives and until the learn to suffer fools tolerently they will simply suffer frustration and ulcers.

Move to the northwoods, I agree. If you encounter other people, there won't be as many, that's for sure.
And if you're around people, you'll bump into stupidity before long.
