i have a v.92 dial-up modem and i read somewhere that you can have the modem "hold" the connection so that you can pick up an incoming call, but you must have call waiting. i don't have call waiting so i'm wondering if its just possible to just disconnect the connection automatically

Good Luck!

I have never heard of that option before. I have a really old computer with a really old modem (that I no longer use) which had both a voice and data option. However, you could not use both at the same time.

it is of undertaking that your clear out - DSL/telephone - field which you plug into your telephone line has long previous defective. (it fairly is a undertaking I actual have had now some situations and not between the recommendations from BT or someplace else reported pointed to this using fact the of undertaking subject). a as consequently envision it is to alter your present day field serving your workstation with yet yet another one. you're able to be able to correctly installation a "defective" field the situation in undemanding words a telephone is provided - yet not the situation the DSL facility is critical. So exchange them around and attempt back - in case you have not have been given yet yet another telephone jack at your house of abode then you definately could desire to have been given 2 packing containers indoors the kit, subsequently take the unused one out and attempt that.
