Got a 117 just wondering if its a good score or not.

I dunno. I took one of those crappy online IQ tests (from tickle i think) and scored 130. Not sure if they inflated the score to boost my ego and make me sign up for the service

117 is a good score. Scientists measure IQ results using a bell curve with 100 as the average, 80 as "mentally challenged", and above 145 as "Genius". Mensa accepts members with an IQ above 132. Keep in mind that IQ isn't everything though. How much you try and your work ethic matters more. Also, IQ tests aren't always accurate.

If you have to ask the question then you should know it's an average score, at best. But IQ doesn't truly indicate how smart you are or how successful you may become. Bill Gates isn't a genius but he did pretty well I'd say.

They say 100 is average. Some tests (especially online) tend to be generous in giving high scores though.

theres no way to tell with an online test their rating scales very, ive scored anywhere from 120-180 and i'm not particularly einstienish.

Slightly above average. As a reference 100 is considered average and 150 and above is considered genius. I scored 140 which means I've got more geniusness than you. Nya nya nya nya nya nya.
