The problems with people getting along is that they don't understand each other or themselves. It's just ignorance.

Other countries focus on the quality of life. In France for example, the food is very good, the people have long paid vacations, the arts flourish. In America the focus is on capitalism. As a result people work too hard, the quality of our food and other products is shoddy and it's all about making a buck.

The current state of education is horrifying. I would like to dismantle all of the huge mega-schools and have students go to many small schools with many teachers. The economies of scale do not function for education.

I don't know if this is what you mean but....
Our politics at this point in our history are really disappointing.
We're so divided it sounds like the civil war again...only this time it's not the North & South....it's the Dems & the Reps.

i want to change the thoughts of ignorant people when they say "why can't they(spanish people) speak english..bla blah blah"..and its because Americans just don't understand and are simple minded. always put yourself in someone else's shoes. but very good question..i just suck at explaining. ;[

Bigotry, hatred, ignorance, and intolerance. Some people are way too narrow minded and despise anything they fear and don't understand. I'd say thats a pretty big problem.
