Can someone help. How do I get rid of it? I tried going on control panel, and clicking on system, then going to adavanced andon but that didn't work/help.
Anyone help?

If rebooting doesn't work, double check your display properties. I have seen this happen when setting have gone awry.

Sure,

Most likely you have set up your color quality to Medium (16 bit).
To fix, start, control panel, Apperance and Themes, Display, Settings, click on the down arror next to Color Quality, and select
Highest (32-bit).

Sounds normal.
Try rebooting, and that usuallly resets things
