I think Halo is the best multiplayer game - but its all quick action in discreet games. I think Everquest and WoW are great adventure games, but the quests are like get me a shell of a turtle - like what ev.
The ideal would be to have the action of Halo but with relevant quests where you and your friends can all be on the same team. Maybe have a scenario you have to play out (like raid the covenant stronghold on so and so). Once you complete it you cannot play it again - that will give the effect of the story moving along.

I would really enjoy a game that is like runescape , or world of warcraft, but based on today's society. Starting as a child, and having to earn experience in a certain career field, and as you get older, you start that actual career. I think that would be awesome. And also add in some violence so it sells. haha.
