I bet not everything is like that. Try going to a bridal store and just go for maybe a short sleeve gown or a less revealing sleeveless. Not all the gowns are one or the other - ive been to bridal stores. And you can schedule an appointment with them so they can help you find one in the store

I got married for the second time when I was 33. I found a champagne coloured dress 3/4 length. Look for something that is not too ruffly or frilly. Something with a small capped sleeve, or even an empire waist...Congrads

There are fabulous gowns @ Anne Taylor and Black house white market... they are very simple, yet very elegant!
