You can report the complaint to the American Medical Association as well as the State Medical Board in the state where you live.

the second link will give a listing of contacts for every state but has not been updated since March 2006

If it's private practice you may be screwed. If it's a clinic or part of HMO, hospital, etc. there should a customer service department where you can log a complaint. If it's something like (heaven forbid) assault, call your local police. Your city or state should have some sort of medical review board or body. Doctors have to be licensed in what ever state they practice in. Good luck.

The medical board in your town or state. A phone call will get you nothing. You need to write your complaint in the form of a letter and mail it to the medical board in your state. What happened? Did your doctor have crappy magazines in the waiting room, they do that sometimes.

It depends on what country you live in now. If you live in the USA you should be able to find the state board of registration by using Google. Then when you have the address or the phone number you can contact them with your complaint. Be sure if you write to include along with your name your address, phone number and your e-mail address.

If you are in the US, go to your state's web site and look for something like medical licensing board. Then call that agency and ask them about their procedure for filing a complaint.

Also look for the state insurance commission, and call them about the possibility of complaining about the doctor to them and your insurance company.

If they are a part of a larger office, write a letter to the office manager. if they did something to hurt you get a lawyer and talk to them about it. I bet you can also talk to your insurance company about doctor complaints.
