Yes, and population growth is the problem.
Generally speaking, less educated and lower IQ individuals have more children than higher IQ pairs. This results in an overall lowering of the populations' intelligence.

Yes, because just looking at FCAT nowaday.... It's been dropping!!!
About 20-30 years ago, graduated from college was such a big deal... Nowaday, many kids finished college and couldn't find a job... (Its kinda like a bachelor degree is almost equivalent of a HS diapolma 20 years ago)...
Many young college grads still don't have a clue about geography, science, math, or literature/ nor we can't even get a job to support ourselves...
Therefore, I think the IQ of the population in the US is dropping...

yes it is is getting lower. Due to the present condition of society we can see by the result. We think all this technology is bringing us more happiness and prosperity but it is giving people more grief and suffering. People have to work so hard just to eat. They have expensive homes or apartments which they spend little time their due to working all day and half the night like a jack As$. Where is the intelligence? (so called IQ). For understanding of real intelligence go to harekrishnatemple.c Read Bhagavad Gita As it is By Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada-Which gives the purpose and meaning of human life.

It is splitting. The lower IQ's are getting lower and the higher IQ's are getting higher. America continues to lower the standards making the opportunity for learning less and less. However like all of civilization, the high IQ's are getting higher.

I think they go to great lengths to ensure that it stays stable. They are constantly re-norming and re-standardizing the IQ tests, so that the scores remain stable in these changing times.

I just want to toss this in. "They" don't even agree on a test for
intelligence and the I.Q. tests are supposed to be highly overrated so how do we start to gauge intelligence? I know what you're getting at, but clinicians HAVE to come to agreement first in measuring intelligence!!

yes it is falling down and down and down, because feminism is taking over, the smart people are moving out, and we all know feminists have no brains, so hypothetically speaking, IQ of the population of US will probably hit ZERO within 10 years.
