The room in the castle is a special thing they just started for the current celebration. The only way to stay in there, at this point, is to win the stay (win a dream) to spend one night in there. You receive a special nights stay, a little celebration, etc. if you win.

I don't know if they will have the room offerred for booking after the celebration, but even if they do it will be nearly impossible to get that one room on Disney property.

If they do offer it, there is no telling what the cost is. They have suites at Grand Floridian that run well over $1000 a night, so I would assume that this will be even more. But, they did recently open the Mickey suite in Disneyland and the rate is actually very affordable for most, I believe it is only $500 or so a night. I believe the value listed for the contest is around $500 or $800, but I can't quite remember the exact.

So really, at this point there is no telling what the future will hold. But, at this point you cannot stay in there unless you win it. And to win it, it is a random thing. The computer tells the "dream team" what location to go to to award each "dream" to prevent problems where people think it is hand selected based on looks, etc.

You can't pay to stay there. You have to go to Disney World and you have to win The Year Of A Million Dreams Celebration Contest. If you win, a random cast member will come up to you and tell you that you've won. There are a few different prizes. The stay in Cinderella Castle is a one night stay for four people or less in the apartment towards the top that was originally Walt Disney's. Disney has fixed it up for the competition. It is about the size of a master bedroom. If you're going to Disney World, good luck on winning!
