More colourful, brighter, stonger. It seems to apply to all species

What's with the sterotyping or should I say sexism? In the male species of animal the bright colours are hightened only for courtship. Furthermore do you know that in whales and fish it is the female that are larger and therefore more stronger. Whereas in humans it is a matter of whether or not women want to build up their strength. But in practical terms a woman's strength is hampered mostly because of her phyiscal structure. Her lung capisity is less than a man's because of her mammal glands. However, a large baby to carry around on your back or in your arms is pretty hard stuff, especially when the baby is nine to ten pounds and that little bundle of joy is just going to get bigger and bigger! That baby is going to want to be carried well into five years by mama so a lot of mothers are going to have to be strong. And as for brighter, well don't you remember what they used to say that little girls were made of everything nice and boys everything bad? That and little girls were always smarter in school. But that was just playground chat which has been proven both wrong and right. The intelligence of individual has nothing to do with the sex, it is all to do with the person. There has always been a seperation of the sexes but if you look closely it is all on the surface. People do hear that men are more likely to ahve heart attacks than women, but women are more likely to die from them because of the lack of treatment for women. But that doesn't mean that women are weaker it is just that they are prejudiced because they are women. Generally our genetic make up is the same. For men have the female chromosone in their DNA, yx. In the animal kingdom it is the same, there are species were females have to learn to survive without a male partner and therefore have to be as strong as the male in order to live. Therefore it is erronous to say that the male specie is always better in the female and to say it applies to all because it does not.

There are greater consequences for a woman if she gets pregnant than there is for a man if he gets a woman pregnant. Males can just walk away after sex but females have to bear the cost of pregnancy for 9 months along with the responsibility of then helping that child grow up so they've evolved to be more selective about who they choose to mate with. Same applies to a lot of other species. Plus the fact that female eggs are larger and less abundant than male sperm which means the female of the species is bringing more to the table from the very start and so it forces the males to display valuable qualities in other ways in order to then be selected as a viable mating partner. Males impress Females select ..generally anyway..

They're not. That's like asking,"Is an airplane better than a car. Have you ever tried driving an airplane to the mall yet? Or have you flown your car yet? When you can give birth, change diapers, keep an eye on the other children, do the laundry, the shopping, clean house, feed the pets and the family, satisfy the man of the house, plus. Then ask that question. In the mean time be thankful for the differences and don't be comparing peaches with bananas.

Not so for black widows, bees, ants, termites, as well as certain wild dogs such as culpeos which operate under a matriarchal society. There are many others, but these are just a few.
Even so, males that are more colorful, brighter and stronger, need to be so in order to impress the females.
