I would personally try the magic eraser first.
Another choice would be to use a mild solution of dish detergent (like Dawn, a popular degreaser). Just apply it to the stain with a dampened cloth.... do not spray it on the wall, or make big swipes with it.. it may leave lighter colored spots in the paint.

You want to be careful about using any kind of solvent on a painted surface, especially walls, because it will strip the paint along with the stain, heheheh. It can be done... but you have to be careful with it.

Good luck :)

"Scrape off any remnants of blue tack from the exterior then stick to a citrus-based stain remover to a cotton swab yet once you're using the spray approach, place a swab on a towel with the intention to guard different surfaces together as spraying the stain remover onto the swab. using the taken care of cotton swab, rub over the blue tack stain then stick to with a dry swab to develop air purifier residue and permit the spot to dry. With a taken care of swab, clean the spot if there are any stain keeps to be. Use a mushy cloth to dry the area."

Put grease proof paper on the stain, & iron on quite a low setting, the grease SHOULD absorb in to the paper.

I would try Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. It has worked for me on things I thought would never get clean!
