my daughter has been collecting liquids in a container up in her chill room (stuff from un drank cups) and there is this 1/2 in thick curly wavy yellowy stuff floating on top, what is it?

It would depend on what the liquids are.

It could be congealed fats if the liquid had oil in it.
It could be yeast or bacterial culture if the liquid had sugar in it and was allowed to ferment before being put in the chill room.
It could be a chemical change in the liquid that created the stuff.

I would have to know what the liquid contained, how long it was at room temperature, and how long it had been in the chill room.

I'd also kinda like to know what she is collecting these liquids for, but that's just me. Sounds a little weird to me.

Probably mould.

th@ stuff is called MOLD. so u need 2 get rid of it fast or it will start 2 smell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
