...to use military force in Iraq. I know, I know...you were duped by the President. The same President you claim to be an idiot and incompetent. If that's true, can you still claim to be "enlightened?"

Pau - How do you explain away the statements of folks like Hillary and John Kerry when they claimed they did their own research on the matter and came to the same conclusion as the President?

Jesi - If best answer was based on hotness, you'd win...but alas it isn't. Sorry.

BigD - Pretty easy to have 20/20 vision after the fact. The reality is that all of Congress is responsible for this mess, not just conservatives.

After 9/11, we had to give the president what he asked for. No matter what. No matter how reluctantly. It was a matter of standing together at a crucial moment.

9/11 gave Bush the right to ask for allot of power. It was granted. And he used it foolishly.

That's basically the history of the pro-force votes in a nutshell.

Being an incompetent idiot doesn't preclude him from being devious and sneaky. He's very smart when it comes to deception. Not so much when it comes to leading the country.

Whether you like it or not, Congress voted based on information that was given to it by the White House. And you can't blame Clinton for this one - Bush had been President for two years when the decision was made to invade Iraq.

well...i'm as liberal as they come, and I hold them accountable. the dems are almost equally to blame for getting us into iraq. i knew bush was wrong, most of the world knew he was wrong, protests all over the country and the world were taking place to let him (bush) know he was wrong. however, our elected reps opted to play the game and give the pres the power to use whatever force he wanted...note that 'war' was never declared by the senate. I did not vote for kerry or bush and won't vote for ANY candidate that supported the war...that's why obama is cool...he was against it and spoke against it before the war. One of the only few brave politicians who would do it. US out of everywhere!

Won't happen.

The likes of Ted Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi and Herman Munster Kerry pander to the lowest parts of society to gain votes... No matter what the cost is to National Security.

Liberals love double-standards. Look at how the left has talked about Condi - if the tables were turned and she was serving a Democrat President, and the right said some of that crap...HOWLS of outrage.

Hypocrisy, thy name is liberal.....

John Kerry, Harry Reid, Hillary Clinton... all war supporters and now are leading the retreat.

They are an embarrassment and would have the US pull out after dismantling Iraq's army. That would be unconscionable and the real crime against the people there.

The neo-liberals never hold themselves, or their ilk, accountable.

Never.

At least as long as the liberal bedwetting moonbat biased media is around.

They will never ever allow a negative story to be published about liberals, and will never ever allow a positive story to be published about conservatives.

The only intelligent response from a liberal you're going to get it: Bush is stupid, he get impeached, he's a racist who hates illegal activity, conservatives cry to much, Bush is a murderer.
