Ok so I have this friend his name is Michael and he asked me out like at the end of december beginning january. and i kind of turned him down i just said flat out no, plus it seemed like he was joking, but then he put his arm around me and started to call me his gf, and then after a while he finally quit. i told a friend this and supposivley according to her, she went up to the guy while he was talking with some popular kids in school and said that he asked me out and made in front of him or something like that. he got really scared blushed and then said it was a joke. i don't go to the same school as him so i don't know if this really happened or not. but anyways now he won't talk to me anymore or my friend kayla, he's ignoring both of us. like usaully he'll come up and start a conversation with me but now when me or kayla says hi, he'll just be like oh hi. I have no clue why he's pisted at me. what should i do?

I think that he's ad because you said no to him, just ignore big jerks, like him.

It sounds like he is mad because you told your other friend about him asking you out and then she embarrassed him by telling the popular kids about how you flat out turned him down right in front of him.
If you still want him as a friend you should apologize for embarrassing him like that....you should not have told the other girl about it because it was a private matter between you and him.
How would you feel if you were the one who got turned down by a supposed close friend and then they told a bunch of people about it???

He clearly wasnt joking about liking u but u brushed him off and made him feel ridiculous, on top of that ur friend has no tact!!! i cant believ she went up to him, infront of his friends too?!! how embarassed he must feel. i wouldnt talk to any of you either. he's obviously upset for two reasons:
1) u didnt take him seriously when it took a lot of courage for him to tell you that he liked you...
2) you told ur friend about it an dshe confronted him infront of other people
If I were you i'd apologize to him, and if u like him too, take him up on his offer to go out sometime..But dont be surprised if he pretends as if it was nothing..after all u bruised his ego and that will be his way of dealing with it
