I collect my cat's whiskers. My friends think it's bizaar but if you've ever kept a lock of someone's hair, I don't think it's any different.

I don't pluck them but I find them on the floor or sofa. I've been collecting since 1977 - I love the clay ball answer and, yes, I do see myself as a future cat lady ;-)))))

That is something that I have never heard before? Do you just find them on the floor, or do you pluck them out of the cat? I don't think you need to collect them, your cat will grow them back...no need for them anymore. To answer your question, it is very different and odd.

Do you collect or, you just kept your cats whiskers. I think it is weird if you go around looking for its whiskers to collect them. What do you want them for anyway. If you just kept a/some whiskers ONE time then No you are not weird.

I think it's gross to collect anything that comes from the body period.... Maybe I should wander around public restrooms and start collecting pubes off the floor LOL

My friend used to to that. And he would stick them in a ball of clay. after a while it looked like a little whisker plant. : )

I don't think it's weird...DIFFERENT but not weird. Your pets are part of your family so collecting kitty's whiskers would be like keeping locks of your childrens' hair.
