i had the same greasy hair problem, and my skin also got very oily (and covered in pimples!). so much for that beautiful skin and glow i was supposed to get during pregnancy... =)

and maybe not a strange symptom, but by far my worst - i had severe insomnia. most women have problems sleeping later on in pregnany, but starting at about 6.5 months, i was only able to sleep about 45 minutes a night. i ended up taking ambien for 2 months, and even on that i would have many night where i couldnt fall asleep until 2 or 3... and no time for naps with a 2 year to look after... i am having the baby in 2 weeks, and have stopped the ambien so she doesnt have any withdrawls.

so insomnia is not a strange symptom, but mine was really bad.

I have the hairless leg thing too.
My leg hair used to grow so fast and be so thick.
Through most of this pregnancy though, my leg hair just really slowed its growth and got very thin. I swear, I've only had to shave twice. My armpits are another story though. YIKES!!!

Yep, I had the greasy hair and as a bonus I was in a mood. Wanted a tank with a flame thrower on it. 100 times worse than PMS. After I had the baby I was back to my normal self, but I was a real beeyotch until I had the baby.

I've always liked vegetables, but when I was pregnant with my first child, I craved lima beans. I would buy the frozen l0 oz. frozen packages and microwave and eat the whole package. Even a night, when I was watching TV, I would eat them. Even stranger, my daughter, who is now 28, has loved lima beans from the time she was a little girl!

Pepperoni - Couldn't eat it without paying the piper at the porcelain altar. Now for the wierd part, My daughter who is now 5 years old will not eat Pizza. She hates it. What kind of kid hates pizza? When I was a kid I would have lived on pizza if my parents had let me.

When I was pregnant with my first, I had chronic heartburn. Then one day I had a sip of a beer and had INSTANT heartburn. I knew right then I was pregnant. I was only about 10 days pregnant and I knew it. I went full term with chronic heartburn. I felt like I was pregnant FOREVER.

I craved ice and chewed ice with all three of my pregnancies. I drove everyone around me completely nuts. I could tell you who had good ice, big ice, little ice. I would order pops and dump the pop to get the ice .

Itchy palms and soles. It was so irritating. And there wasn't a rash or anything. They looked completely healthy, but they would just itch- luckily it went away by my second trimester-

Early on, I got bad acne on my shoulders, which never has happened to me.

I was soooo hungry early on, and gained 10 pounds, but later lost it.

I was very very tired, and my nipples hurt so bad.

With my 2nd child, my leg hair stopped growing. I never had to shave while pregnant.
