I have seen both look REAL good! Me I am in favor of a real tan but in the winter if you do not want to get in a tanning bed I say go for a good spray tan.!

I start by going to the tanning bed for a couple of weeks (in the beds, not spray on) and then maintain by going out for a real tan.

Spray tan is much easier on the skin, and no risk of skin cancer. There are some really good ones out there thses days...
Besides.. have you ever seen a 30 somthing chick that spent way to much time tanning by UV or sun? I have.. they look like some 90 YO woman combined with a shi tzu puppy, and if my shoe leather looked like that I'd throw em out...

Spray tan is very fake. I can always tell it from the real thing.

no tan, i'm 38 and i look like i'm in my mid 20s. tanning ages the skin, if you want to look like leather so be it, as for spray tans having a chemical covering your entire body can't be good for you. it's a relatively new thing, we'll see what the harm is in ten years or so .

I do the rub on kind. Just on my legs because otherwise eww!
They won't tan naturally in a safe amount of time, and I'm too cheap and unconcerned to spray.

Nylons for women, and tanning beds for guys. Spray tans are really, really tacky, especially up close and personal.
