Not at all. I have Internet Explorer, Mozilla, and Safari all on my laptop. The reason it won't slow your computer down is that it's unlikely that you'll be using more than one at a time, but even if you do, it shouldn't make a difference in the performance of your computer.
Just make sure you have anti-virus software and keep it updated for each browser, just as you would do for a single browser!

If it did slow down your computer, it would most likely be due to insufficient memory to store and run all the browsers; it would not be due to just having them though!

heh i have 3 browsers (not including wget and lynx)
installed and make my own as well.
always keep your browser updated and choose your
favoite to be your "default"
It wont slow down the pc unless you have them
all running at the same time.

if you open different tabs in a browser, no. If many browsers are open (there has to be like 9 or more) then itll slow down

short answer - No.

As long as you keep them update with security updates and periodically clear out your temp internet files for each application, you shouldn't have any problems.
