I think staying will create more little terrorists.
I've sat and listened to the voices of the Iraqi's. I've heard the rumors that they tell each other. Do you remember all of those rumors that there were Muslims here in the United States (usually in a convenience store or something) dancing when the terrorists attacked us? Of course, it turned out to be a blatent lie, but people here still believed it. And the Iraqi's have just as much cause to create the same rumors. Such rumors create hatred among people who are already in a bad position.
Then, of course, we have al Qaeda. Alledgedly, we intercepted some communication in which the top leaders of al Qaeda are afraid that if we leave now, many of the young terrorists that poured in from other countries will simply get bored or see no reason to stay, turn around and go home. And of course, it worked out perfectly for those foreignors to start a sectarian war. Now the Iraqi people are fightend of each other, and neighbors who once watched each other's children are afraid of each other now. Frightened people become idealogues, and idealogues breed terrorism.
And with the rumor mill going, who are they going to blame? The United States.
We make a convenient target anyway. Even if we were no where near Iraq, come 10 years time, we'de be blamed.

It is said that there are 1.2 Billion muslims in the world today. It is also estimated that of those, approximately one percent, or Ten Million of them are Islamic hardline extremists or the types that are readily active and or willing to carry out a terrorist act. So, the civilized world already has more than it's hands full of potential or otherwise, terrorists. Dealing with and taking the fight to them (Afghanistan, Iraq) rather than letting them bring it to us (NYC 9/11) is of the highest importance. Fighting and killing them is not the only way to defeat them. Educating their impoverished youth before they are so desperate that they are willing to become a suicide or car bomber is of the highest importance also. The latter will only come from us defeating dictatorships, such as Saddam Hussein's and the Taliban and enabling free and democratic elections, such as what has occurred in Iraq.
I fail too see how our battling them in Iraq will create more terrorists. Those that are so extreme believe that it is Allah's will to kill and behead westerners or non-believers (infidels) as the Quran and the prophet Mohammed instructs them to lest they convert to Islam. It is about that and that alone to them and not just our presence in Iraq. - If we leave, then, in Osama Bin Ladens own words, - we (The U.S.) will be perceived as weak. This will only embolden the Islamic extremists / terrorists and they will definitely then bring the attack to our shores again.
I hope this country does not find out the hard way, how important the outcome of this war really is. The day we wake up and turn the TV on and see an attack the likes of which makes 9/11 look like a picnic, will be a day far too late for politics and internal bickering.
Americans, particularly those on the left, forget that the second half of the popular post-9/11 bumper sticker, "United We Stand", is "Divided WE FALL".

The fact that we are in Iraq is causing a massive influx of the recruiting of terrorists. Our military keeps going after the bad guys when really we should be trying to change the hearts of the people there. We cannot win over people's hearts with guns, and tanks, or even by building them a new government.
The basis for terrorism against the US is lies. They believe that we don't like them and their ways, and that we want to kill them. Exactly how are tanks in their capitol cities going to change that frame of mind?
Instead of tanks we should bring food, medicine, and RESPECT. The one thing Bush doesn't have for anyone else is respect, just look at how stubborn he is with ending this war. It's clear most Americans want it to end, and that should make his decision to end the war all the more clear.
The American forces can chase these terrorists down for 10,000 years and they will NEVER catch them all. They need to focus on stopping the extremest mind set. If the people of Iraq don't believe that we are a violent, brutal, and dangerous country, then it will be very hard for terrorist leaders to recruit people.
This war is completely misguided, and I feel like our troops are being misused.
The men and women that signed up to protect us, have my utmost respect, and I would happily thank each and every one of them for everything they have done for us, and will continue to do.
Bush is the one misusing our troops, putting them in harms way for what seems like an obsession over killing people that might be terrorists. I think if Bush wants to continue this war he should fight it himself.

Since the United States "liberated" Iraq, it has seen a dramatic increase in the number of insurgents and al Qaeda. I'd say the world would have been a safer place if Iraq was never invaded by the US.

One good thing about the Iraq conflict (it's NOT a war) is that now the terrorists are all coming out into the open where we can kill them. After 9/11 we didn't really know where most of them were hiding. Also, now they are showing their religious "peers" that they are not fighting for Islam, just for relevance.

What will CREATE more? Staying in Iraq. However, if we leave now, the terrroist factions will be able to organize and do something whereas right now they're having trouble getting their own ground to stand on. Nobody likes terrorist. Between the US military, Sunnis, and Shiites, they're having a hard time organizing. So a terrorist threat would be greater if we leave now, but there would be less terrorists.

I already know that staying IS creating more terrorists. I've seen it. We need to leave by the year's end, or else the entire country of Iraq will be one big terrorist nation.

the final reason to stay in Iraq, in the journey that your unlikely to take a partisan stance on the project, is largely humanitarian. a great deal of harm develop into carried out to quite a few distinctive factors of the full infastructure in Iraq, and you have a huge quantity of human beings who won't be able to restoration it do to quite a few different factors. we've a ethical duty to help those in desire, tremendously if we placed them in that desire. We might desire to stay the direction because of the fact to desert the Iraqi human beings now may well be to throw each and all the stressful artwork we interior the defense force put in, each and all the sacrifices everybody has made, American (and allies), and the Iraqi human beings have made, away. We might desire to enable the Iraqi human beings a huge gamble to control themselves. If we don't, we are able to stand greater insurgency there and greater terrorists here. There are already terrorists in Syria, etc. we don't might desire to enable them to have sanctuary in Iraq....

Leaving, the number one recruitment for the longest time was we left Mogidisu after losing a few men. That one act led to a huge increase in size to al qeada. Leaving Iraq now would just reenforce the belief that they just have to out wait us, the terrorist are in this for the long haul, we have to be too.

Stop worrying about the terrorists. There will always be nuts in this world who will do nutty things. They are few in number and are not statistically a serious threat. Whenever we leave Iraq, the situation will be just as bad as it is today if not worse. We might as well leave now.
