My niece was born on December 24th, and she feels the same way, due to the fact that most people have a hard time getting everyone Christmas presents, let alone have extra money for the birthday also. While her other two sisters have birthdays in June and March, and get very nice and pretty expensive presents, my niece is usually left with 10 bucks in a card from the majority, then come Christmas, she is equal to everyone else's presents. It's not really the peoples fault that they are short on money, but they surely do get the short end of the deal.

My g/f's friend has a B-day on the 24th of Dec. I think they combines the dates and do it in one shot, I'm not sure if she complains about it or anything. It's not about gifts thought, as most people like to think.

Get this, my sister have a teacher in high school, her name was Mary Christmas. She obviously did not like the name as she got older so she took her middle name, Anne.

I don't handle it but I have heard others who do so by picking a day six months away and celebrate then.

My nieces bday is Nov. 24th so it sometimes falls on Thanksgiving. She loves it though.
