NO b/c not all pitbulls are violent. It depends on how they are raised and their blood line. My friend has 2 and they are the sweetest things ever. I did not like pitbulls until I meet them. They are very loving and very good with children. I htink that most pitbuls are mean and violent b/c their masters raise them to be that way....which can be done with any breed of dog!

yes, these dogs no matter how nice people claim they are they have that agressive gene. I think if people want to own one, they should carry insurance on the dog and register it as a lethal weapon. EVEN though there are other breeds of dog that attack more, pit bulls are more ferocious and travel in packs
Yeah I remember about 3 yrs ago in NC , this family had a really nice pit bull until one day it ripped their infants scalp off

hmmm lets see look at all the muslims who are killing innocent people, i say lets ban all muslims from entering the us, and get rid of all the muslims that live here, lets steralize all muslim woman so they can't have kids, lets make it illegal to practice muslim religion. this makes sense because after all a couple muslims are hurting people, so they must all be bad right?
wrong!! just because a few individual dogs were made viciouse by there low-life drug-addicted owners, some retarded people think we should ban the breed as a whole! anyone who believes in BSL is a #$^#^^^#%@ idiot!!!

No it shouldn't be illegal to breed any kind of dog. I know lots of pitbulls that friendly lovable dogs. Lots of times when pitbulls are mean or vicious it's due to the owner training it to be that way. People should be punished when animals attack.

NO, not at all. The mean ones are mean because people made them that way. My brother has had Pitbulls for years and they are sweet and friendly, all they want is some love.

Yes and no...it would be ashame to have the breed die out...not all pitbulls are vicious...I believe if a dog is trained properly and is socialized....there shouldn't be an issue

Pit bulls aren't any more dangerous than other large or mid breeds. Rottweilers have just as much a tendancy to be violent. they just got a bad rap

No, they should not be illegal to own or breed. There should, however, be more restrictions on WHO owns them. Maybe have a background check or a license. Too many people abuse them and it's not the dog's fault.

NO NO NO!!! Ban the DEED not the breed!! If you want to ban a dog, it needs to be all large breeds not just pits. Quit picking on them for what HUMANS do to them!!
