Dont have one but my neighbor does.
He started his own roofing business and is doing quite well. NOt sure if that was due to him or his PhD wife! He (they) seem to be doing quite well. By all outward apperances, they seem happy. Both drive nice cars and they have an awesome house. He stated that he had a learning disability that made traditional school too much of a hassle for him.
Anywhoo, traditional schooling isnt for everyone. Just look at any state's drop out record and see for yourself. I can't believe that all of those people are doing poorly in life.
A GED does not make you more or less of a person. You can still do anything you want to with your life. The GED wont stop you.
