I read an article saying the japanese put out about 4-5 manga pages a day where american comics put out that many every 2-3 days. What's the truth here?

Yes, i'm aware they're B/W. I read them often.
But I'm looking for a definite answer, so if anyone knows anyone who actually works on a team of mangaka, then I'd like to hear from you.

How many people work to draw one manga series?

Established mangaka (manga creators) often have assistants, if not a full studio. The assistances can do all the backroungs and inking and such. A good assistance can draw in the mangaka's style and even draw thte figures if nessesary.

So, maybe, but it might beup to 5 people making the pages not just one person.

maximum of Animes are adapted from manga.... Mangas of direction is drawn by way of the mangaka which has the rights to his manga call. If an anime corporation/studio needs to evolve the manga into an anime they could purchase the rights from the mangaka. The Anime version isn't drawn by way of the unique author that's the mangaka yet by way of the group who works on the corporation/Studio... So there may well be some minor modifications to the character designs. positioned it purely: it is in reality the comparable, it basically relies upon on who attracts it. @harmless Bliss: the place did you get the seen computers DRAWING ANIME? Ofcourse anime remains drawn by way of HUMAN. some draw it instruction manual and then coloring it interior the workstation, on an identical time as others do it interior the workstation completely applying pills to entice. yet nonetheless every physique is those producing it. not completely automated!!!

Maybe, they are really fast at drawing and producing comix faster than their American counterparts. Somehow I prefer anime and manga than American comics. Well, ever since I was a kid.

I'm making a manga-ish webcomic, and I could believe it. They're probably more accustomed to the style, and they really dedicate themselves to it.

Me personally, get distracted by school, friends and other hobbies easily. I'm sure more Americans are like this.

You have to remember that manga is in black and white
while American comics are in color so production time and cost will differ.
