Bush really doesn't know what he is talking about yet. He still thinks we are winning in Iraq, as if there were something there to win. American troops should not have to die in order to referee a civil war. The right thing to do would be pull back and let them settle their differences. Bush is trying to save his legacy so history will not look at him as an Idiot. But it is too late.

We will continue to be lied to so long as the american people continue to depend on "news sources" for their information. Somewhere along the way, the government has taken complete control. When people complain and make a fuss, they usually either disappear or they are called a terrorist and thrown in jail. We are paying our government officials saleries and we have every right to fire them when they aren't doing their job. We have let them get away with it for too long to try to take control back now. Never think for one minute that the Iraq war is about anything other than money. Bush is accusing them of the same thing we are guilty of. We have weapons of mass destruction but yet we go to other countries and tell them they aren't allowed to have them. This isn't right. We are the bullies in their eyes and they are right for believing so. The media is trying to put the blame on anyone except for the true party at fault, which is George Bush. That man declared that it's his final decision on what is going on in Iraq, therefore he is the only one responsible. Thank you.

Shame you guys have to waste a nice information site to vent your political and anti-war views. There are already plenty of good political message boards for that purpose. You are obviously not looking for an answer as you seem to have decided what the answer is for yourself. As for someone saying earlier that the government is controlling the media. That is just plain stupid. If the govenment is controlling the media, why is a good deal of the media trashing the President on a daily basis.

USA wants presence in the Middle East. This had made American job in Iraq more difficult. It is not fair to blame sectarian violence to any particular group. It is failure of Government to bring different group together to end the violence. There is no other solution for a durable peace.

As long as Bushes masters Halliburton, and Saudi Arabia keep giving his handler (Cheney) orders to stay in Iran we will keep hearing junk. The non binding congress has been largely bought and paid for by the same money. So figure it out.

the iranians have a hand in this for sure because they are shiites who are the enemies of the sunis, so it takes 2 to tango. Sunis are already terrorists, but the iranians are trying to incite the shiites to violence against the sunis. I say screw both. Take all the liberals like you, send them to Iran and nuke the whole place.
