Highly possible, if the blood test is accurate. The 'pregnancy' hormone is supposed to keep doubling throughout the pregnancy.
Just remember to be a good friend and stand by her! Her loss as well as the crashing hormones will make her a bit flaky for about 3-4 weeks. It's normal.

Unfortunatly yes this is a tell tale sign of an impending miscarriage, because she is not that far along she may not notice that mucb bleeding or pain....But if her levels dropped, especially consideriably low like this,it means her pregnancy is no longer viable..in order to maintain a pregnancy your hormone level has to be at a certain number, and hers is lower than the normal..the average at this stage is in the 100's...Her hormone levels is supposed to rise and double every 3 days, and with her this is not the case..im sorry for your friend and right now the best thing to do is be there for her, losing a baby in miscarriage is emotionally difficult.

It absolutely was with out a doubt a miscarriage. If she were still pregnant her hormone levels should have been steadily rising. Instead they are down to almost nothing, so yes she did have a miscarriage. She needs to go to the doctor to make sure that she is not going to need a D&C.

Yes it is. Bright red blood is the one that scares the doctors the most, it is miscarraige blood. She should see a doctor right away, or at least call to tell them the symtoms

Yes it is very possible. Just let her know that these things happen for very good reasons, and she will conceive again and have a healthy pregnancy.

Yep, could be. She should get a doctor's confirmation on it just to be sure everything is okay.
