If your name was Katrina, and your birthday was September 11, would you change your name and celebrate your birthday on Sept.12th instead?

No, my name is not Katrina, my full name is Kaitlyn but I prefer to be called Katy. And no, my birthdate is not September 11th.
I posted this question because I wanted to hear your opinions on this scenario; That's all.

Depending on my age, I wouldn't change it (too much hassle with credit cards, professional degrees etc). I would just create a nick name for myself and insist friends and family call me that.
If your name was Katrina I would just go by 'kay' would still celebrate on the same day.
If you are not from New Orleans it wouldnt matter a whole bunch anyway

I know a katrina but she is june 11th.
Just gives here an excuse to be a wild child - hurricane katrina!

Lol, My niece was born the day before the hurricane hit. My sister was going to name her Katrina. Luckily she didn't.

no your name is connected to you, i would never change it to escape myself. however as a native american i have several names, i have my birth name, my sacred name (known only to a few trusted friends) and also my online name to keep the physchos at bay! lololol
