Earthquakes, Tsunamis, Hurricanes, Tidal Waves, Sharks and rising Sea level are some of the myraid disasters that could strike you. Why not live inland? Sure it's not as pretty but it sure is safer!

Not quite. Earthquake hits inland too and sharks of the water variety don't come ashore. Inland sharks are more dangerous, inland hyenas of the human variety prowls inland more than on the beach, fires and tornadoes tends to favor inland locations too.

Note also that beautiful people tend to gravitate towards the coast.

Since danger could lurk wherever you are...I would rather have the coast anytime.

I live in Miami Beach and LOVE IT.
No earthquakes, no Tsunamis, same sharks at large, not to much of rising sea, hurricanes you get to go away before it comes....
Full of people (especially now with the Super Bowl) from different places and it feels like summer vacation at all times.
Come and visit you are going to like it.

You are right.

Everybody move as far from the coast as you can. Where you will have earthquakes, tornadoes, fires and tennis-ball sized hail.

That will get the price of real estate along the coast back down.

Disasters that you speak can be prepared for.No I didn't say stopped.Prepared for..Mabey you could get the answer you seek,if you spent a spring or summer on a coastline
