Since I don't know your age, and I am only assumming you are a girl, there is no straight answer.

Maybe the question you need to pose to yourself is, "Why do you feel that time is being wasted?" If you are too busy to chitchat, just move on to your scheduled tasks. People should understand this. Chitchat is a waste of time, but only if you are using that time for something more productive. If nothing else is in your schdule, then chitchatting is just as wasteful as your silence.

Thus, if you simply don't want to talk, then it's a mood issue. You may be going a traumatic time in your life or simply may need to have your hormone levels checked by a physician. Mood swings run too often in adolecents, and other ages when the body is changing drastically. it's perfectly normal. Just make sure they don't deteriorate into depression. It is not healthy for your system and your productivity.

Hope it helps.

Sometime, you will need to trust someone to help you in some way...if it's not today chit-chat seems like a waste of time but...when that day comes, how can you trust someone you've never really talked to? How will anyone trust you? You learn the unexpected and get insights into peoples character and sometimes find things to talk about that aren't a waste of time along the way. If you've chit-chatted enough...when the day comes that you need someone, you'll know who you can trust and have people who trust you.

Sounds like you regret getting to this point. You asked for help by saying What is My Problem? So you know you are bored or depressed. Pick one of those and then start your ascent back upward. Chit-chat is human-interaction and unless you have outgrown the people you interact with, and need to find other surroundings or friends, you sound depressed and think it's pointless. Human-interaction is Absolutely Necessary!! Trace back to the time you first felt like all of it was useless blabber (I've been there myself) and see what was going on. You have more power than you think you do!! Good Luck!! @8-)

Nothing is your problem- the problem is others nonsense. We are not supposed to talk nonsense. We have nothing to do with this material world any ways. Are you a very spiritual person? If not I suggest turning your energy that direction Inward toward your creator also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. Chanting the Maha Mantra is the best means to get in touch with reality and your true identy and Our Maker. If you are interested in this info go to harekrishnatemple.c Read Bhagavad Gita as it is By Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada- gives the meaning and purpose of human life.

Not all people are chit-chatters... me included. I only speak truth... and small talk means saying something just to say something.

First, it seems that something must be bothering you because if you dont feel like talking to anyone then you must be upset about something happening in your life. If this is true, talking to someone can actually be helpful and take your mind of things.
