I've read his Sword of Shannara trilogy. It's a brilliant work, especially the first book since the idea of a psychological battle instead of just physical was very original. I love "The Elfstones of Shannara".

I have read several of Terry Brooks books. Eleven of the Shannara books (including Wishsong and Ilse Witch) and all 5 of the Magic Kingdom of Landover series. And I am hoing to get around to the Word and Void trilogy sometime in the near-future (I have books 2 and 3, but not the first one! lol)

I read the Shannara trilogy (Sword of Shannara, Elfstones of Shannara & Wishsong of Shannara).
Was it just me or did the Sword of Shannara seam a lot like Lord of the Rings? and the lizard (Mellet or whatever) in Wishsong acted a lot like Golem from lord of the rings.

I read his "Running with the Deamon" series... 3 books. I tried reading some others but could not get into them. Try "Running with the Deamon", "Knight of the Word", "Angel Fire East" if you have not already read them. They are good books.
