Like individuals. Some are quiet and withdrawn, some talk to everyone. For some, they dress over the top, others dress quite conservatively. Being goth has nothing to do with what clothes you wear or music you listen to, it is a way of thinking and seeing the world. The clothes that goths wear and the music that goths listen to is just a reflection of that mindset. Goths see that there is extreme pain and evil in the world, along with the good. Instead of condemning it or ignoring it, goths accept these things as a part of life and try and enjoy the good along with the bad, since they can't stop the bad from happening. They are not obsessed with death, they just accept it as an inevitability. They do not try and cause more pain in their (or anybody else's) lives, since there is plenty to start with. Goths tend to be kind, intelligent, non-violent, emotional, and artistic.

There is no set way. Some people are closet goths and in "real life" looking at them you wouldn't know that they were. I imagine many in the corporate setting have had to conform during working hours or face unemployment (sad but true).

As for personality, it depends on the person. Everyone in this world is different and unique including gots. Some are incredibly outgoing and others are extremely introspective. Those are example of opposite ends of the "spectrum". Most goths, as most other folks, fall somewhere in between. There are extreme personalities in every walk of like but not as common as you might think and certainly are not representative as a whole of any group except only those people with similar personalities. An outgoing Goth might have, personality-wise, more in common with a cheerleader or sorority girl than another Goth who is less socially inclined.
