Surf the web together and compromise. Check out Japan, and hav him check out Hawaii. If you have a lot of time, why not stop off in Hawaii on the way to Japan?

Why don't you you go to Japan one year then Hawaii the other, if you live in America I think it would be better to head to Japan.

Seriously, plan to go to both, just at different times. Flip a coin or use some other random decision maker and STICK WITH THE DECISION. If your choice doesn't come up, then y'all will go there next vacation. Ditto if it happens to him.

well you should just go and have a romantic dinner and sit and talk about how you want to spend your vacation. or yall can play it both ways, yall can go to each vacational spot. and then yall cant say that yall didnt get to do anything together.
