Jimmy the Groundhog in Sun Prairie, Wis., saw his shadow today, and predicted six more weeks of winter.
The more famous Punxsutawney Phil, however, did not see his shadow at Punxsutawney, Pa., thus predicting an early spring.

I heard that one groundhog (not Punxatawney Phil--yet one in a neighboring state--in all probability Ohio) have been given right here out of his hollow just to confirm that Groundhogs additionally are in many situations reported as Prairie canines. He grew to alter into very disoriented and replied by way of growling & snarling, and then barking loudly like a canines, and then he yanked the microphone out of the hand of one of the community television journalists reporting on the type, needing to play fetch with the mic!

I didn't know there was more than one groundhog that they relied on. Hmmm. Ah well, I never pay attention anyways cause it's no big deal to me. I heard that it didn't see its shadow....which means early spring. Yay!! I hate winter & being cold!!!
Btw, your birthday is 5 days before mine!! Happy early birthday to us both! HaHa!

Yes, SHE did indicate an early spring this year...Phil is now Phyllis from what I have been hearing on the news...makes me wonder why they didn't check her gender sooner? Are the people in Puxatawney gender biased?
