the internet is not secure..
(i can prove that)
so NO. if you want something
to be secure you must:
1) encrypt it with a good encryption (SHA-1 is outdated)
2) store it on a closed network or stand alone machine
3) password protect the machine with a password of random digits and letters

I have used Turbotax with no problems for several years. I would go for it.
