Oh honey I feel your pain!!! I too am 34 weeks along. I have sharp pains all of the time and my doctor says it is your ligaments stretching. As I, you probably do feel like you need to go to the restroom and nothing happens. The baby has probably dropped some and has added some extra pressure. The other thing is though, you are probably just constipated. I have been for months now! The only natural remedy I found is apple juice. Drink a couple of glasses a day and you are sure to feel better! Hope this helps! Best wishes!
P.S. The apple juice works pretty quickly. As in, you might go the same day or the next morning. So you might want to plan your schedule around that. You will be amazed at how well it works!

Are you taking iron? The constipation thing happened to me when I strated taking the iron. I just drink alot of water and I go fine. Also I eat a high fiber diet too. I can tell a major difference in the way I walk and breath now at 37 weeks. My baby dropped at 35 weeks and I had some sharp pains but only a couple and it was like someone just stabbed me real quick and that was it.
I would say its pretty normal. My doctor calls my pregnancy "perfect" and I have had the same things you described! Good luck!

you should be able to notice if the baby has gotten lower it won't just be like a plunk and it's dropped, it's gradual but you will notice a difference. as for the constipation that happens. I am at 31 weeks and been constipated for some time.and the pain in your pelvic is probably cuz of the baby being almost at term. could also be a sign that your doing to much and need to sit back and relax.

Yep. All "a" okay. The baby will continue to grow and press against your pelvic bone. Of course, you will continue to go but drip drip drip. lol This is when you get to go from chair to chair trying to find just one that you can get comfortable in. May I suggest a kitchen or dining room chair. Just sit on the edge. OOh, yes. If he or she gets to pressing real hard in one way or the other and gets to hurting, get a piece of ice. Run his or her little butte around until the one gets into a better resting position. This was the only way I got to sleep at night the last few days before delivery. Good luck.

It sounds like the baby has dropped, hence the added pressure on your pelvic and rectum. The constipation and pains are comletely normal. Call you doctor and they might want to do another ultrasound to confirm the baby's position. Sometimes they don't drop until right before labor. Best of luck!

Yes, time to start eating hard fruits like apples. It sounds like this pain you are experiencing could be constipation if it is in the rear of your pelvis.
Change to a greener diet..more fresh fruit and veggies...less cheese and more skim milk..
Is it the pubic bone that hurts? Your doc can prescribe physical therapy for you. They will teach you to do excercises that will bring the two sides of your pubic symphysis closer together.
(one side slides downward on some women, causing terrible pain in the pubic bone. One way to help a little right away is to keep your knees together when you sit down or stand up.
