We have talked about marriage.I am 32 and he is 23.I thought he would ask me to marry him around Christmas.(His mom gave me the impression he was gonna ask)But he didnt. I confronted him about the marriage issue and he said he wants to marry me but not right now.Im in no hurry but it sounds like he just doesnt want to be trapped. Am I reading this wrong??? PLEASE HELP!!!!

sounds like you are already leaving the life of a married couple sans the formality. is he stable enough to marry you?
well,guys don't like to be pressured about sensitive matters like these. as much as possible they want to take their time. so you just have to set limits on how far are you willing to hang on.

I agree with what Bill said. This is something you need to seriously discuss with him.
These are my personal feelings, if you two love each other enough to live together and fool around and have a baby, then you two should love each other enough to get married.

If you think you are compatible enough to marry, you're compatible enough to discuss this entire issue with him and not read tea leaves here with strangers.

oh honey, he is too young to be married. If he wanted to spend the rest of his life with you he wouldn't use words like "trapped".
