I had it with my second. I think its just your body remembering what it felt like. It could also be anticipation as you only found out yesterday. Congratulations by the way!! I hope you are excited. If you are at all concerned about it then speak to your midwife when you make your first visit or see your GP as soon as you can.
I found the second time round that I did not have as much energy and everything ached twice as much as the first time. Probably because you have a little one to chase after as well. A lot more bending down and picking up. Some of my friends had no problems second time round, so it could be different for you.
Hope that helps.

I don't think there's anything to worry about. Not all pregnancies are the same. I have two boys, and the my first didn't start moving til I was 6 months pregnant! The second was moving just like yours is now! If you're really scared, call your doctor.

They say you feel different things with a second or third pregnancy. You notice things more and develop differently. Your body adjusts easier because it has been through it before. I know that does not help much, but i would keep that in mind and go talk with a Doctor about it. You never know what it could be and it is better to be safe then sorry.

It is normal for all pregnancies to be different. It is just your stomach expanding to make room for the baby and sometimes it will give you butterflies in the stomach. It is normal and you are just fine. If you do get anything more serious then I would contact your doctor and tell him and see what he thinks. Hope all is well and Congrat's

It doesn't sound bad to me, if you are having no cramping or discharge. My wife has had several miscarriages, and has never had symptoms like that. You are likely just experiencing the changes that come naturally with pregnancy. That said, if it persists, or worsens, or you are really worried about it, just call your ob/gyn. He/she is used to the questions, and won't mind at all. I hope you have a wonderful pregnancy! Congratulations!

1. You cannot feel a baby kicking at 6 weeks.
2. It could be gas.
3. I felt a butterfly feeling about 2 weeks before I misscarried, and it turned out that the babies I was carrying died 2 weeks before the miscarriage.
4. I would call the doc. Normally they won't even see you for pregnancy until you are 8 weeks old for that very reason....you might lose the baby before then. If you are really scared, go to the doc, and insist on an ultrasound right now.

Very much sounds like gas I had it with my second too. It is definitely no need to worry. If you are worried I would ask your OBGYN about it but I am sure she will tell you the same. Congratulations on the baby. I have 4 in my family that are pregnant right now and all they do is worry, worry, worry. I love them all!!

I would call the doctor on this question. I was 8 weeks pregnant and had the same thing happen and a week later found out I had a miscarriage. So don't chance it call the doctor.

I just had a baby and I can remember getting cramps early on. When I asked my doctor about them, he said it was my uterus stretching in preparation for the baby. My cramps were lower though and felt similar to menstral cramps.

It is quite normal, if you are having your second child you turn to feel it more than the first one.
Nothing to worry about, But if you are still not sure, I would suggest you see your doctor.
