I can't STAND conceited people. Like you said, it's one thing to have confidence, but it's another thing to just love yourself to the point that other people around you want to smack ya!
I don't find it attractive at all only because it seems like they love themselves enough that it means that I don't have to.
In all honestly though, it really means they are more insecure than the most insecure people you know!

I don't think conceit is "attractive" in the sense of it being a pleasant or flattering character trait. However, when I was younger and not in a committed relationship I found arrogant and conceited people profoundly entertaining on a recreational level. I find arguments and debates absolutely delectable, and I enjoyed making my intimate relationships competetive.
Now I'm a grown-up stepmommy who would never, ever admit to such a thing at the next event for the kids...

Absolutely not. There's a difference between being cocky and confident. Cocky people are usually the insecure ones who feel like they have to show off to get approval because if they had a high self-esteem about themselves they wouldn't feel the need to brag about themselves.

NO way....there is nothing wrong with feeling comfortable with
your self but to think you are gods gift to the opposite sex is
to me ugly..I think i am pretty but don't go around waiting for the red carpet treatment....beauty comes from inside also and shines threw the windows to your soul ...YOUR EYES!!!!
