I've not been hung over for years but when I was it was the inability to function properly that caused the most problems for me. I made mistakes on the job that cost me time. I looked like crap and I didn't smell too good either because the smoke and booze smell from bars never would come out when I showered. The inside of the cab of my truck had stagnate beer and whiskey in the seats and carpet. It smelled gross!!
I'd have the say the worst part of being hung over is the time it takes out of your life to recuperate. The hours, days, weeks that are gone forever. Then all the simple things you lost or missed out on because of the poor choices drinking brings to your life is really difficult to deal with. Not only does it leave a bad taste in your mouth that nothing can get rid of, it's leaves a bad taste in your life too.
