i do think vaseline is bad if u use it by itself, but i put olive oil on my scalp and then a little vaseline on it, to keep it from gettin dandruff, i do that about twice a week, and i only put olive oil on my hair, i mean my hair is light and it moves like a white persons (im not trying to be white just proving a point!) my hair is growing and getting long, my hair is healthy and everyone loves it!!!!!
so should i still stop using it?

no, i don't think vaseline is bad. if it makes your hair better, continue!

Vaseline is bad for your hair because it clogs the follicles (the hole where your hair comes out of) and stops growth. Olive oil by itself is best.

Olive oil is a natural product. Vaseline is petroleum. A step up from axel grease.

My friend would use Mayonnaise on her hair, But i wouldn't use a petroleum product. YUCK
