See your doctor!

Sometimes females end up with hormone imbalances that cause anovulation (lack of a period due to no ovulation). You should have at least 4 periods a year to flush out the toxins in the vaginal area.

When this happened to me, I went on the hormone replacement therapy for menopausal women. I was in my mid-twenties.

it's important to know your age. if ur around late 40's then menopause commom thing. need to take hormonal pils to level ur body hormon.
if ur teenage girl emm still ur anamnesis is important. the situation is called secondary Amenorrhea (had menses before but stoped for more than 6 months)are u goin tru stress, prob, or anything disturbing u for the pass several months? then you must be having some weigh loss. do u have any other changes in body like milk dischangin in breast(indication for prolactin hormon level).
hypothyroidism (lack of thyroid hormone) or increase activity of adrenal gland also might be causes for amenorrhea.

Depending on your age, you may be going thru the change.
Otherwise, I have seen patients go for several months after stopping the depo shot go without periods. Depo is a very tricky vaccination. Check with your local Family Planning or your Gyne...GOOD LUCK!! But don't WAIT!!

It hasn't happened to me, but I have known a few women that it has happened to. One woman told me it was 15 months before hers came back.

If you're concerned or trying to conceive, I'd talk this over with your doctor to see what he/she suggests....

Good luck!

I had my last shot last may and still have not had one. My doctor said it could take up to one year. Don't panic and enjoy the time without it. :-)

You need to get to the doctor. You have a hormonal imbalance that needs to be treated.
