Would it be difficult to migrate back to a traditional or a core IT/software company in the future? I'm a recent college graduate (Masters in Computer Science).

They will look at your role in the company. If you get promoted to team leader and get a raise, you will be more likely accepted in another industry.

hmm... it will be a tough road ahead no doubt, but a pretty bright one. security softwares, internet banking, e-commerce, are the biggies of this current time. especially security softwares. banks are super-dependent on those, with the sudden large emergence of cyber-terrorist.
