The Wii does not come with a SD card luckly it comes with 512MB built in memory. You can get a 2gb for $50 at Radio Shack!

The wii has 512 MB of internal memory, and it doesn't come with an sd card. You don't need an sd card to save.

You do _not_ need to purchase an SD card to save games. Nor do you need one to purchase and download games from the online store. Once you start filling up the internal memory then you can look into purchasing one.
One more thing... do _not_ purchase a card larger than 2G. The Wii will not be able to read it.

Pretty sure they are only sold seperately, and also pretty sure if you would like to save your progress in games you will need to purchase one.
