I hit something by mistake, and poof....it's gone. I tried everyhting. Please help. The Google toolbar is up there (but I want my Explorer one back) so if you could be so kind as to explain.

I have Internet Explorer 6. Don't suggest getting 7. I don't want it.

Just search internet explorer toolbar and download it again. First try keying F11. You might have bumped that key w/o realizing it and that's why it's gone.
Also, consider getting exp. 7 it is much better than the old version.

At the top of your screen you'll see the words File Edit View Favoties Tools Help. Click on View and you will see tool bars. Check what is unchecked and this should help. Another thing you can try is what disappears on the top usually will go to the right side of your screen in a small box. Look for anything that has an arrow going down that may have a simmiliar label and click it.

Right click on a blank area of your google toolbar and make sure the following are selected
Menu bar
Status bar
Google
If that doesn't work you might be in full screen, so hit F11

are you using Internet Explorer 7? click on the Tools tab at the top-left hand side, go to Toolbars, then check your current toolbar, to bring it back in.

Go to the view button at top of page... click on it and you will see one that says tool bar. Make sure once you click on tool bar that all the choices have a check mark by them.

If you still have tools option avialable, open it, and look for toolbars, there should be the option that you are looking for..
Also, try shutting down the computer and reboting it..

the simple way to get it back is to go to system restore ; and restore your computer to a day before you made the mistake
