Scince Tuesday I've noticed that after I go to the bathroom there is some blood in the toilet (sorry if I'm sounding stupid and immature to you but I want to give as many details as possible so you can tell me ifI should mention it to my Mom or not). It's not really mixed in with my urine though. The blood seems to be comming out in like strands conected together. Hardly (and I mean hardly) any blood is going on my pad so I thought maybe it might be internally. But then I decided to wait and see because sometimes it takes a few days for me to start having a normal flow of period. But I noticed this on Tuesday and its Friday now. What should I do? Tell my Mom?

I've had irregular periods for the past year or two and the doctor knows that. I'll probably ask my Mom what she thinks of this and she if she thinks I should go to the doctors. And the past few weeks my heart and chest have been hurting but the doctors don't know why. He thinks it might be because I was in a car accident last month or bcuase I have lots of anxiety.

I don't know what fecal matter is. Sorry that I don't really know so please don't laugh at me. I never had anybody explaine stuff like that to me yet. I hope it isn't fecal matter though whatever it is.

It sounds to me like what you are experiencing are blood clots. These are normal. IF I have misunderstood you and the blood is mixed with fecal matter then yes, please speak to your mother. Actually, if you feel comfortable speaking to your mother about such issues I would discuss your question with her anyway.
Good Luck and God Bless.

A preiod should last for the most 7 days, if you have injured yourself and think you are bleeding internally you should get to the doc's ASAP. You are probably just having a heavy period, they are a total nightmare! Good luck!

i assume you've had periods for awhile. is the period itself different? are you bleeeding between periods? if it's normal for you and there haven't been any other changes (going on or off birth control, taking more aspirin than usual) then go to the doc. a period is bleeding internally. if you have a big problem you'll know something is wrong...

period or menses last till the fixed time as in same duration you had before.internal bleeding will be prolong.you can see the color diffrent where period will be as u know but bleeding or heamorragic will be fresh blood stain. moreover if it prolong for some days anemia can be revealed where , pale peripheral extreemities, chillness, general weakness and so on..if u think tat the bleeding due to some infectious process then general intoxication signs will be noticed too. or if it is due to presents of cyst or tumor then it will be alwaz accompanied with other signs n symptom not only bleeding.bleeding tru vagina should be pathology in cervix, vagina, fillopian tube or ovary.anyway it's common in abortion case(severity depend on method used). last till few days but need follow checkup

IF it is your period, it will be normal bleeding, you don't have to change your pads or tampons all of the time. If the bleeding is internal, you will notice that you have to change yourself more frequently than normal.
MY advice to you, if you think that you have internal bleeding, you better got to the ER.

Oh good heavens! What a question to ask on Y Answers!
If you've never had a period before, there's a good chance that's what's happening.
If you've had a period before and this is totally different and you are scared --- CALL 911 or go to your OB/GYN immediately!!!!!!

Get regular pelvic exams. If bleeding lasts longer than usual it could be a problem.

If it doesn't stop bleeding after a week then it's internal.
