I agree with the others, where do you see gays portrayed as angry? I think you have a distorted perception along with your victim mentality.

I don't think I've ever seen gays portrayed as angry in television or movies more than any other character. Homosexuals are human, meaning they have emotions, just like anyone else. I think that often we may appear angry because we put up a defense due to a lot of the criticism from many different people. And then there are people trying to "cure" us and "reform" us and that makes us a little bitter as well. For the most part, we don't mean to be angry, but there are factors that come into play with our attitudes.

Well..tv and cable and movies aren't real. So why compare? And I own a hell of alot of gay movies and none of them are angry.

I see lots of movies that portray them as being happier than the average human being, which of course is a bunch of crap.

a lot of gays have deep rooted shame and this manifests itself in a variety of ways, one of which is rage... It can take years, or a lifetime, to work out our kinks...

I see precious few portrayals of gay people who are as angry as they should be. But, then, I see precious few gay people irl who are as angry as they should be.

because we are seen as always having to defend ourselves and who we are.....its a constant battle just to live our lives without discrimination....sucks...
