seems to me that most other low grade drugs (weed , E and speed dont cause the taker to want to kill someone or anything like that) does the world need to have a rethink on this one?

Speed? That's scary. E? Tried it but hated the comedown. Weed - love it to this day. I think the worse of em is the Meth. Creepy. But alcohol is about as dangerous. You don't hear about people getting arrested for killing people cuz they were stoned.

Ive had some great times gettin drunk with my friends .Its just boring getting stoned, listening to idiots trying to solve the riddles of the universe when in fact they are saying nothing that hasnt been said a million times before. Why isn't cannabis legal? because no one is willing to come off the stuff long enough to keep a clear head, get into parliament and change things from the inside. Is alcohol the worst drug of all?? i don't think so, it is however the most widely available and this alone can account for it's association with more crimes than other drugs. I wonder how many people are driving on our roads high on E or stoned off their heads? Theres no test for that and it can be just as deadly.

hmm, hello officer, whats that? a breathalyzer? OK, no problem, i havent been drinking.....Something wrong there i think.

nicely particularly the two. For my own opinion although that is; drugs. drugs and alcohol the two are addictive, and stressful to interrupt. For some human beings that is impossible. as quickly as addicted continuously addicted. you're able to desire to have the will capacity to apply abstinence to stay faraway from the two. If a druggie switches to alcohol that is basically yet another crutch. while a druggie beverages as a manner to attempt and fulfill his/her craving for the suited intense, they are going to be so absorbed in alcohol to cajole themselves that only one little flavor of the magic drug won't harm something. Then they are hooked yet returned.

Alcohol is a major problem for many people but if you go over the top, referring to it as 'the worst drug of all' then anyone who has seen the effects of really dangerous drugs like ice or heroin will laugh at you so your argument will be ignored.

To be taken seriously you have to avoid exageration.

The prohibition of drugs of any hue is clearly a failed policy of the major governments of the world. Booze is clearly a poison and it's use and abuse is sad, but in a 'free world' people should be free to do as they please so long as it does not interfere with others freedoms. This thinking must surely be used with all drugs.

I think it is the worst because people drinking it don't think they are doing anything wrong and it is the most available one. It is available at sporting events, restaurants and most social events. After those events there is a lot of fighting, car accidents, and domestic violence so I do think it is the worst drug only because of its availability and acceptability.

I would think cigarettes are the worst drug.
Not to take anything away from alcohol but
Smoking is the #1 cause of preventable death in the nation killing approximately 450,000 people every year
Smoking is also much more addictive then alcohol is.

Maybe to some it is. Unfortunately some people can't take alcohol.

I can drink a lot and then not have a beer or glass of wine for six months, just like that. I drink socially but I can stop whenever I want to. So I feel I can drink quite responsibly.

No.

How do you think alcohol makes you want to kill someone while speed does not.

I think nicotine is the worst drug of all. It's addictive properties have taken away far too many people.
